About The Creation of The Group

The idea was simple, there are veterans of bioshock 2 game who have played its multiplayer since bioshock 2 was released (in 2010) and there's also a constantly growing number of people who are interested in playing the multiplayer on a regular basis. Thus, you're never alone, and you're always able to find a game and enjoy playing it!

Why the membership in the group is invite-only?

Because this group is focused on playing bioshock 2 multiplayer only. The members can stay sure everyone in the group has and plays Bioshock 2. We don't need random Minecraft guys, who don't even have Bioshock 2 game, and who would join the group just for fun.

Do people still play Bioshock 2 multiplayer?

To this the answer is YES, people still play it in 2017

How many players are there who play it?

The number of players is constantly growing, the average is about 40-50 players who play it DAILY. But don't forget there are other games (and different mundane activities), so that people can be busy playing them instead of Bioshock 2

Why To Play Bioshock 2 Multiplayer?

It's cool. Yes, such a simple answer is enough to persuade you to play it more and more. Beautiful graphics, cool maps, various weapons and ways of gameplay, and of course The Big Daddy Suit! Which will turn you into an immensely powerfull being, once you put it on you.

A Word About Lag

There are no dedicated servers for bioshock 2 multiplayer, it is player-host based. And players are spread worldwide. The game automatically chooses a player to become the host for the current game and thus your gaming experience depends entirely on the quality of internet connection and speed of the hosting player. Some people have got pretty fast internet speed and good overall internet connection, others have got not. So if it becomes very laggy for you and unplayble, then just wait for a host change.

agreed,exept sentrys are everywhere,you can hack stuff and there is no anoying engineers ^^
well jacob norris is close to an engy but hes not anoying

Just a shitty question : So, I'm playing Bioshock 2 again. I'm checked Multiplayer and Level 1 with no unlocked stuff. Why? ;-; I was about level 13...

Considering the game has no dedicated servers (it's matchmaking based), group games are usually done via announcements. It's not great but it works. I've tried planning out a day out of the week/month where we can have group matches but I didn't get much feedback so the idea faltered pretty quickly.

I have a quick question: I've not played Bioschock 2 Remastered yet--are these multiplayer matches held on the Remastered or the original Bioshock? Or both?
